On January 9th, 2019, in Hanoi, the General Statistics Office (GSO) held a training conference on the 2019 enterprise survey plan. Mr. Pham Quang Vinh – Deputy Director General chaired the Conference.
Attending the conference were specialists of the Industry Statistics Department (GSO), members of the Standing Team of the Central Steering Committee for the Enterprise Survey; representatives of relevant units under the GSO; Leaders of Provincial Statistical Offices and Chiefs of Industrial/Commercial Statistics Bureaus under 63 Provincial Statistical Offices.
The Conference focused on training in the collection of information on sales, exports, the purchase of raw materials and materials for production, exports of raw materials and materials, the number of suppliers, the assessment of difficulties in sources of material supply.
In 2019, there are some changes in the Enterprise Survey Plan, including: The Survey will start from March 1st to May 19th; Supplemented contents: Collecting information on assessing the real situation of supporting industries in the manufacturing industry; Enumeration units/respondents expanded for corporations to account for the whole industry: the GSO surveyed all 59 units (588 units in 2018), separating Viettel Post Joint Stock Corporation; Information on enterprises in supporting industries; Some contents/indicators going down compared to the previous years; Information in financial reports (Questionaire No. 1A): Only collecting non-responsive financial reporting indicators such as sectoral revenue divisions, or total indicators; Questionaire No. 1B: designing the List (supplementing indicators on total realized investment capital for enterprises Code 3), etc…
Speaking to direct the Conference, Mr. Pham Quang Vinh highly appreciated the preparation of the Industry Statistics Department and the serious working spirit of attendants, at the same time, proposed relevant units and Provincial Statistical Offices to thoroughly grasp the contents in the 2019 Enterprise Survey plan so that the Survey is carried out favorably and successfully.
