Agricultural, forestry, and fishery production in August maintained stable growth. Agricultural production focused on cultivating and tending of rice and other winter and summer-autumn crops. Index of industrial production in August of 2026

The industrial production index for the manufacturing sector in August rose 14.6% compared to the same period last year; the water supply and waste management and treatment sector increased by 9.5%; the electricity production and distribution sector increased by 11.8%; and the mining sector rose by 18.5%.
