In the morning, April 28, 2020, in Hanoi, the General Statistics Office (GSO) held a press conference to release the White Paper on Vietnamese Enterprises 2020 and the White Paper on Cooperatives of Vietnam 2020. Mr. Nguyen Bich Lam, Director General of GSO chaired the conference. Attending this event were the leadership of GSO; representatives of leaders of units under the GSO; representatives of relevant ministries and sectors; representatives of press agencies in Hanoi.
The contents of the White Paper on Vietnamese Enterprises 2020 are the basic information which assesses the development of enterprises throughout the country and localities in the period 2016-2019, consisting of 6 main parts: (1) The context of the development of enterprises in 2019; (2) Overview of Vietnamese enterprise development in 2019 and the period 2016-2019; (3) Some key features of the operating enterprises with production and business results in 2018 and the period of 2016-2018; (4) Recommendations for the development of enterprises; (5) Set of indicators in assessing the development of enterprises in 2019 and the period 2016-2019 (National scale); (6) Set of indicators in assessing the development of enterprises in 2019 and the period 2016-2019 (Local scale).
This is the first year the White Paper on Cooperatives of Vietnam has been released with the following basic information about assessing the development of cooperatives of Vietnam and localities in the period 2016-2018, consisting of 5 parts: (1) Part I: The context of the development of cooperatives in 2018; (2) Part II: Overview of Vietnamese cooperative development in 2018 and the period 2016-2018; (3) Part III: Recommendations for the development of cooperatives; (4) Part IV: Set of cooperative development indicators in 2018 and the period 2016-2018 on national scale (Appendix); (5) Part V: Set of cooperative development indicators in 2018 and the period 2016-2018 on local scale (Appendix).
The two publications meet the requirements of managers, researchers using information to serve the development of enterprises, cooperatives on both national and local scales as well as the requirements of all information users inside and outside the country.
