Industrial production in July was better than the previous month, estimated industrial production index in the month increased by 3.9% from the previous month and increased by 3.7% over the same period last year.
As of July 15, the whole country cultivated 1,194.4 thousand ha of winter paddy, equaling 105.8% of the same period last year, of which: Northern localities cultivated 836.1 thousand ha, equaling 108%; the southern localities planted 358.3 thousand ha, equaling 101%.
