The index of industrial production in June was estimated to increase by 10.9% over the same period last year. In which, the mining industry decreased by 7.7% over the same period last year; the processing and manufacturing industry increased by 12.6%; the electricity production and distribution industry increased by 13.7% and the water supply and waste and wastewater treatment industry increased by 8%.

Of which, the Mekong Delta harvested 1,423.9 thousand hectares, accounting for 95.7% of the cultivated area and equal to 100.6%.
