The gross domestic product (GDP) in the third quarter of 2019 was estimated to increase by 7.31% over the same period last year, higher than the increase of 6.82% in the first quarter and 6.73% in the second quarter of this year.
The index of industrial production (IIP) in August 2019 was estimated to increase by 5.4% over the previous month and by 10.5% over the same period last year. Industrial production in the eight months of 2019 reached a considerable increase of 9.5% over the same period last year.

The first 6-month GDP increased by 6.76%, which was lower than the rise in the first 6 months of 2018 but higher than the spread in the first 6 months of years 2011-2017.
The index of industrial production (IIP) in May 2019 was estimated to increase by 4.6% over the previous month and by 10% over the same period last year. Generally in the first 5 months of 2019, the IIP was estimated to increase by 9.4% over the same period last year.
