As of July 15, the whole country cultivated 1,194.4 thousand ha of winter paddy, equaling 105.8% of the same period last year, of which: Northern localities cultivated 836.1 thousand ha, equaling 108%; the southern localities planted 358.3 thousand ha, equaling 101%.
