People with disabilities (PWD) are an inseparable part of society. Ensuring the rights and improving the quality of life of PWD is not only the responsibility of state agencies but also a common commitment of the whole society. Therefore, it is very necessary to clearly understand the status, characteristics and needs of this group of people. To serve the needs of users of statistical information on PWD, the National Statistics Office (NSO) compiled the publication “Results of the survey on people with disabilities 2023” based on the results of the national disability survey to collect multidimensional information on PWD in Vietnam. Through the detailed analysis and presentation of data, this publication is not only a useful reference for researchers, policy makers and social organizations, but also a basis for building and implementing effective support programs, contributing to an inclusive society that leaves no one behind.
