With the hope to provide readers with the recent socio-economic reality and movement of the country as well as other development resources of provinces and cities directly under the authority of the Central Government, the National Statistics Office (NSO) of Viet Nam would like to introduce the book named “Socio-economic Statistical Data of 63 Provinces and Cities 2020-2024”, compiled by the Integrated Statistics and Foreign Affairs Department.

The book consists of two parts: Part I. A system of charts showing some key indicators of 63 provinces and cities compared to the whole country; Part II. Some key socio-economic indicators of 63 provinces and cities, gathered and processed from local sources in the period 2020-2024.

Some indicators have been compiled without thorough verification and processing. Therefore, the data summed from 63 provinces and cities of some indicators may not be equal to that of the whole country released by the National Statistics Office of Viet Nam. However, given the importance of indicators, they are still disseminated for readers’ reference.

In order to improve the publication, any comments are highly appreciated so that the book could provide users with more useful information.
