There were a 8.4% growth in total realized investment capital under the State budget compared to the corresponding period last year with the capital of VND 18,689 billion, equalling 4.2% of the annual plan.
The CPI in January 2020 increased by 1.23% over the month. 12/2019 and an increase of 6.43% compared to January 2019, the highest increase of the January price index in the last 7 years.

GDP in 2016 was estimated to grow by 6.21% compared with 2015, of which it increased by 5.48% in the first quarter; 5.78% in the second quarter; 6.56% in ther third quarter; and 6.68% in the fourth quarter.
The GDP in 2016 was estimated to increase by 6.21% compared to 2015, of which quarters’ growth rate was 5.48%, 5.78%, 6.56%, and 6.68%, respectively. This year’s overall growth rate was lower than the increase of 6.68% in 2015 and did not reach the target of 6.7%.
As of mid-November, the whole country harvested 1240.5 thousand hectares of winter rice, accounting for 67.5% of the cultivated area and equaling 96.7% from the same period last year. The cultivated area of winter rice in the North reduced 14.7 thousand hectares compared with last year.
As of mid-October, the Northern provinces harvested 810.9 thousand hectares of winter rice, accounting for 70.4% of the cultivated area and equalling 96.8% from the same period last year, of which the Red River Delta harvested 400.3 thousand hectares, accounting for 73% of the cultivated area and equalling 94.7%.
GDP in nine months of 2016 was estimated to grow by 5.93% compared to the same period last year, continuing the trend that quarterly GDP growth is higher than GDP growth of the previous quarter (GDP grew by 5.48% in the first quarter; 5.78% in the second quarter; and 6.40% estimate in the third quarter), but it was lower than the growth rate of 6.53% in 2015’s same period.
The gross domestic product (GDP) in 9 months of 2016 was estimated to increase 5.93% over the same period last year, continuing to maintain the GDP growth rate of the next quarter higher than the previous quarter.
