The Statistical Yearbook, an annual publication by the National Statistics Office, comprises basic data reflecting the general socio economic dynamic and situation of the whole country, socio-economic regions and localities.

Internal Migration in Viet Nam 2009-2024

“Internal Migration in Vietnam, 2009 -2024” is a special publication compiled based on the 2014 Mid-term Population and Housing Census; the 2019 Population and Housing Census; the 2024 Mid term Population and Housing urvey; and the 2024 Labor Force Survey. These are national large scale sample surveys designed to collect information across various domains, including internal migration.

Viet Nam Population Projections 2024-2074

The Intercensal Population and Housing Survey was conducted at 0:00 on 1 April 2024 under Decision No. 629/QĐ-TCTK dated 14 July 2023 issued by the Director of the General Statistics Office (now the National Statistics Office). This is a large-scale sample survey, covering approximately 20% of all enumeration areas nationwide (equivalent to 39,340 areas). The sample design ensures district-level representativeness (prior to administrative mergers for population size indicators and provincial-level representativeness for the remaining indicators.

With the hope to provide readers with the recent socio-economic reality and movement of the country as well as other development resources of provinces and cities directly under the authority of the Central Government, the National Statistics Office (NSO) of Viet Nam would like to introduce the book named “Socio-economic Statistical Data of 63 Provinces and Cities 2020-2024”, compiled by the Integrated Statistics and Foreign Affairs Department.

National report on civil registration and vital statistics 2021-2024

The civil registration system plays an important role in state management as it provides basic information on vital events such as births, deaths and marriages. Data from this system helps determine the legal registration of citizens, provides a basis for compiling statistics to inform policymaking and used for further research and studies.
