In the morning of October 27, 2021, GSO held a training conference on Surveying, Collecting Information, Making Inter-sectoral Balance Sheets and Calculating Intermediate Cost Coefficients in 2021 in both face-to-face and online forms. GSO held the Ceremony the 75th Anniversary of the Viet Nam’s Statistics Foundation (May 6th, 1946 - May 6th, 2021) and received the First Class Labor Order.
I am writing to extend our hearty congratulations on the 75th Anniversary of the Viet Nam’s Statistics Foundation. The establishment of the General Statistics Office (GSO) in 6 May 1946 sets the foundation for further statistical development in Viet Nam, which has since grown from strength to strength.
GSO held a workshop on Knowledge sharing on measuring digital economic. Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong, Director General of GSO chaired the workshop. The workshop was organized with the support of World Bank.
The 52nd session of the UNSC took place from 1st to 5th March, 2021 held in the form of online meetings. Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong - General Director lead the delegation of GSO attending the meeting with Deputy General Directors, leaders and representatives of departments under the GSO.
