GSO held an online meeting "Sharing experiences on the 2019 Population and Housing Census" with National Bureau of Statistics, Maldives. The meeting will take place on May 17th-20th, 2021. Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong, General Director of GSO chaired the meeting.

The establishment of the General Statistics Office (GSO) in 6 May 1946 sets the foundation for further statistical development in Viet Nam, which has since grown from strength to strength.
