Fertility in Viet nam declined substantially in previous decades and became stable near the replacement level in the last ten years. The model of the two-child family has become popular in Viet nam, except among some ethnic minorities and in less developed provinces. The authors of the monograph also analyzed the differences in fertility across regions and population groups, and the factors affecting recent variations in fertility in Viet nam. |
