On the morning of March 29, 2022, the General Statistics Office held a press conference to announce the socio-economic statistics for the first quarter of 2022. Mrs. Nguyen Thi Huong, Director General, chaired the press conference. At the press conference, the Director-General announced the socio-economic situation of Vietnam in the first quarter of 2022.

On the afternoon of January 11, 2022, the General Statistics Office held a conference to review and announce preliminary results of the 2021 Economic Census and Administrative Survey. Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment (Ministry of Planning and Investment) Tran Quoc Phuong and Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Nguyen Trong Thua, Standing Deputy Head of the Central Steering Committee for Investigation of Administrative Establishments, co-chaired the conference.
