Gross domestic product (GDP) in the third quarter of 2020 is estimated to increase by 2.62% over the same period last year, which is the lowest increase of every third quarter in the period 2011-2020.
The bright spot of the economy: the trade surplus was nearly 17 billion USD in 9 months
Vietnam's merchandise import and export continued to reach a trade surplus of nearly 17 billion USD in 9 months, this trade surplus was 2.6 times higher than the same period in 2018 and 2.3 times higher than the same period in 2019.
