Index of industrial production in January of 2025

The industrial production index in January 2025 is estimated to decrease by 9.2% compared to the previous month and increase by 0.6% over the same period last year, of which the processing and manufacturing industry increased by 1.6%.

Infographic socio-economic situation in the fourth quarter and 2024

Agricultural, forestry and fishery production in 2024 will take place in complicated weather conditions: Intense heat, drought in the Central Highlands and Central regions; saltwater intrusion in the southern provinces, especially the impact of storm No. 3 on the northern localities. The rice area for the whole year of 2024 is estimated at 7.13 million hectares, an increase of 12.0 thousand hectares compared to the previous year; rice yield was estimated at 60.9 quintals/ha, down 0.12 quintals/ha, rice output reached 43.46 million tons, down 33.6 thousand tons.

Index of industrial production in March of 2025

Industrial production in the first quarter of 2025 continues to show positive growth, with the industrial production index estimated to increase by 7.6% compared to the same period last year. Within this, manufacturing and processing industries have grown by 9.5%.
