The contents of this report constitute technical advice provided by the staff of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to the authorities of Vietnam (the “TA recipient”) in response to their request for technical assistance.
The 52nd session of the UNSC took place from 1st to 5th March, 2021 held in the form of online meetings. Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong - General Director lead the delegation of GSO attending the meeting with Deputy General Directors, leaders and representatives of departments under the GSO.

Gross domestic product (GDP) in 2020 was estimated to increase by 2.91% over the last year, although being the lowest increase of the period 2011-2020, but in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, negatively affecting all socio-economic fields, this is a great success for Vietnam with the growth rate in 2020 among the highest in the world.
