The consumer price index (CPI) in April 2010 saw an increase of 0.14% as against the previous month. April’s CPI rose by 9.23% as compared to that of the same period last year, and by 4.27% as against that in 12/2009. Average CPI for four months rose by 8.69%, as against that in the same period in 2009.
April’s gold price reduced by 0.8% as against the previous month, by 4.53% against 12/2009 and rose by 33.89% as compared to the same period in 2009. April’s USD price decreased by 0.28% as against the previous month and rose by 1.22% as compared to 12/2009 and by 7.86% as compared to the same period in 2009.
