Socio-economic situation in the second quarter and six months of 2019

The gross domestic product (GDP) in the second quarter of 2019 was estimated to increase by 6.71% over the same period last year. The first 6-month GDP increased by 6.76%, which was lower than the rise in the first 6 months of 2018 but higher than the spread in the first 6 months of years 2011-2017.

Socio-economic situation in May and five months of 2019

The index of industrial production (IIP) in May 2019 was estimated to increase by 4.6% over the previous month and by 10% over the same period last year. Generally in the first 5 months of 2019, the IIP was estimated to increase by 9.4% over the same period last year.

Socio-economic situation in November and eleven months of 2017

The IIP in November was estimated to increase by 17.2% compared to the same period in 2016, of which the manufacturing increased by 24.3%; production and distribution of electricity spread 13%; water supply, waste and sewerage remediation went up 10%; however, the mining and quarrying fell decreased by 4.1%.
