On the morning of March 4th, 2019, in Hanoi, the GSO launched the national workshop and training course on analysis of food consumption data to derive food security and nutrition indicators.
On March 19, 2019, in Hanoi, the General Statistics Office (GSO) under Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) with support of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) co-organized the “Launching Workshop of the Set of Sustainable Development Statistical Indicators of Vietnam”.
On the morning of September 19th, 2018, at the headquarter of General Statistics Office (GSO), the Central Steering Committee for the Economic Census held a press conference to announce official results of the 2017 Economic Census.
On the morning of October 5th, 2018, in Hanoi, the Steering Committee for the 2017 Economic Census held a conference to summarize this Census. Mr. Nguyen Van Trung - Deputy Minister of Ministry of Planning and Investment - attended and chaired the conference.
On the morning of December 21st, 2018, in Hanoi, the General Statistics Office (GSO) held the scientific workshop with the topic “Results of test collection of information on consumer goods and services on e-commerce websites serving the calculation of CPI”.
On January 9th, 2019, in Hanoi, the General Statistics Office (GSO) held a training conference on the 2019 enterprise survey plan. Mr. Pham Quang Vinh – Deputy Director General chaired the Conference.
On the afternoon of January 9th, 2019, at the headquarter of the General Statistics Office (GSO), a training conference on the use of computer assisted personal interviewing (CAPI) in the survey and monitoring of consumer prices chaired by Mr. Vu Thanh Liem – Deputy Director General of GSO was held.
During two days, July 12th – 13th, 2017, in Da Nang City, the General Statistics Office (GSO) held the training conference on integrated statistics and national accounts in 2017.
The Conference on implementation of the Scheme “Innovation of compilation process of gross regional domestic product of centrally-run cities and provinces” was held by the General Statistics Office (GSO) on the morning of October 11th, 2016 in Can Tho City.
In the morning, November 12, 2019, in Hanoi, the General Statistics Office (GSO) in coordination with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) held the dissemination workshop on the 2017 labor force pilot survey applying CAPI (Computer-Assisted Personal Interviews).
