In July, localities across the country focused on speeding up the planting of winter rice, caring for and harvesting early summer-autumn rice, and ensuring planting and harvesting in the best time frame. The livestock industry has been facing difficulties due to the high price of animal feed, which makes farmers not assured to re-herd and expand production scale.

Socio-economic situation in May and five months of 2022

n the first 5 months of 2022, the number of newly established enterprises increased by 12.9% compared to the same period in 2021; the number of enterprises returning to operation increased by 57.8% and the number of enterprises completing dissolution procedures decreased by 14%.

Socio-economic situation in April and four months of 2022

Industrial production in April was estimated to increase by 2% over the previous month and by 9.4% over the same period last year due to the control of the Covid-19 pandemic, businesses being more proactive in terms of labor and production plans, overcoming difficulties to recover and expand production. Generally, in the first four months of 2022, the industrial index of production increased by 7.5% over the same period last year.
